Born in the early 70’s to Bishop John and Linda, with 4 siblings, Pastor Johnny Tipton is no stranger to our church or community. He has served here in our local church and surrounding community most of his life alongside his late father, Bishop John Tipton.
Pastor Johnny Tipton has the vision to see our cities and communities changed by the power of Jesus, through preaching, community outreach, and reaching those that have been discarded while obeying the Great Commission.
Pastor Johnny Tipton has felt the call of God in his life to serve in ministry at the early age of nine (9) years old. It was shortly after his late father took pastorship of the Bible Church of Jesus that Pastor Johnny Tipton preached his first message with the help and mentorship, under the direction of his father.
He grew up playing drums in the church and worshiping with his family in old fashioned Holy Ghost filled tent revivals, brush arbor meetings, preaching on the streets, and anywhere his family was called to serve. Revivals, campmeetings, conferences, and church meetings were the foundation of his young childhood.
As Pastor Johnny Tipton got older, he became an accomplished keyboardist as well as praise and worship leader in the local assembly. Pastor Johnny Tipton has traveled across the country leading worship services for many churches, both organizational and independent churches during their corporate gatherings, or special meetings.
It is our goal and vision to be the most loving church in the world and to see each person connected to this house walking out and demonstrating the kingdom of God. There is no greater joy than serving our Lord and bringing the reality of Heaven to earth. We are praying blessings over your house and believe that the best is yet to come! God has given us dominion, let us walk in it!
Make disciples of Jesus Christ
God delights in us and desires to manifest His presence among us. As we behold Him, we are moved to praise joyfully and worship deeply. The more we encounter Him, the more we are aware of His Spirit in us and our calling to carry this transformational power to others. God desires to make Himself known, and we will let Him. Psalm 27:4; Psalm 65:4; Ephesians 1:4-5; Acts 1:8
Through reading His Word, hearing the Word preached, and becoming active in what He has called us to do, we are ever-growing and maturing as individuals and multiplying as a church family. It is impossible to stay stagnant when giving ourselves entirely to His ways. Psalm 119; Matthew 5:16; Acts 2:40-47; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:5-10
Jesus Christ freely gave His life so that we could have a relationship with God. This is where our generosity is rooted. We are generous in giving our time, talents, finances, and resources cheerfully because He is good and, in Him, we lack nothing. We are most like God when we are giving. 1 Kings 10:1-13; Matthew 10:8; 1Corinthians 3:13; 2 Corinthians 9:6-14
We are dedicated to communing with God individually and corporately. From the Old Testament to the exemplary life of Jesus, from early church leaders to powerful movements happening in our day, we know the power of open communication with God. His house is to be a house of prayer, so we will pray. Not as a last resort, but as a privilege and for pleasure. We will pray in our understanding and when we don’t have the words, the Holy Spirit prays through us. Isaiah 56:6-7l; Matthew 6:5-8; Luke 18:1; John 16:24; Romans 8:26-27; Hebrews 4:16; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
The Bride of Christ is deeply in love with Jesus Christ — it is not relegated to Sundays, religious activities, or compartmentalized in our daily lives. For those who have let go of sinful desires and know Him fully in mind, body, soul and spirit, there is no place for apathy. Deuteronomy 6:5; Psalm 84:2; Colossians 3:23; 1 Corinthians 10:31; Matthew 6:21
His Kingdom is our Culture. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we become citizens of His Kingdom. His will is to be done on earth as it is in heaven. In this way of life, we transform the world for the better as we anticipate His return! Matthew 6:9-10; Matthew 20:25-28; John 14:12; Ephesians 2:19-20; Hebrews 12:1-11; Revelation 11:15
We believe the entire Bible to be the inspired, infallible Word of God, the revelation of God’s will for man and the divine and final authority for the Christian life. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
